The Rental Housing Alliance Oregon (RHA Oregon) was founded in 1927 in Portland, Oregon. RHA Oregon is a nonprofit organization of residential rental owners and managers in the State of Oregon.

RHA Oregon members (Currently Over 2000) have joined together for the purpose of improving the success of the rental housing industry, to enhance the reputation of “landlords” by promoting professional management practices, and assisting local public officials in various community endeavors relating to public and/or private housing.

RHA Oregon publishes a monthly newsletter, the UPDATE. The Update holds a schedule of the MONTHLY DINNER MEETINGS, sponsored EVENTS, SEMINARS AND TRAINING CLASSES for the purpose of offering improved management techniques to its members and all rental housing owners and managers in Oregon state.  Visit our MONTHLY CALENDAR for upcoming events.

The RHA Oregon also sells the most currently revised rental and lease forms for use by Landlords throughout the state of Oregon, both in hard copy and online.

RHA Oregon also offers discounted prices on tenant screening reports for its members available online 24 hrs/day at your convenience.

Non members are encouraged to attend RHA Oregon monthly dinner meetings, training seminars and classes to see what the RHA Oregon offers to its members.

RHA Oregon members receive substantial discounts from non member pricing on rental housing forms, seminars & classes..

  • Up-to-date information regarding the effects of new and proposed legislation that may affect the operation of your property.
  • Enhanced reputations for “landlords” in the community. Especially with various government agencies with whom RHA Oregon has been actively working to find solutions to community housing problems.
  • Currently revised rental management forms that comply with all aspects of Oregon State Landlord/Tenant Law.
  • Annual social gatherings -a picnic and a holiday celebration held for the family and friends of members.
  • Answers to rental property owner/operator questions or referrals to the proper sources of information.
  • Free Notary Service available Monday thru Friday, 9am-5pm.  Just call the office for an appointment.  (This is a members only benefit)
  • Your voice heard: We employ a lobbyist at the state level and have a volunteer Government Affairs committee to work at the local level.

To become a member:

Active Membership is for individuals and firms who manage and/or own rental housing in Oregon state.

  • Active Membership Yearly Dues for 1-4 Units:  $135, plus a $50 set-up fee.
  • Active Membership Yearly Dues for 5 or more units: $135 plus $1.50 per rental unit, not to exceed $500. Plus a $50 set-up fee.

Vendor Membership is for individuals and companies who have products or services to sell to RHA
members and who wish to support the rental housing industry by joining RHA. Benefits include newsletter advertising opportunities, Trade Show booths, one free classified listing in the RHA UPDATE newsletter, the opportunity to sponsor monthly dinner meetings and many other opportunities for special recognition at RHA events.

  • Vendor Membership Yearly dues: $225. Plus a $50 set up fee.

Professional Membership combines the benefits of Active Membership & Vendor Membership. It is for those who own and or manage rental housing and who wish to offer goods or services to RHA members.
*Please note that RHAOregon By-laws state that Property Management Companies must hold a Professional membership

  • Professional Membership Yearly Dues: $225 plus $1.50 per rental unit, not to exceed $500. Plus a $50 set-up fee.
